LUPUS FOUNDATION TO HOST HEALTH AND WELLNESS FORUM

“Living well with chronic Illness” is the theme for a Health and Wellness Forum which will be hosted by the Lupus Foundation of Grenada (LFG). The event will take place at the Hospitality Suite, National Stadium on Saturday November 14 th at 10.00 am.

President of the LFG, Mrs. Hazel Bierzynski, says that everyone is invited to attend the event which will see a panel of prominent Grenadian doctors address a wide range of topics associated with chronic diseases. These subjects include an overview of what constitutes a chronic illness, managing chronic pain, stress management and relaxation techniques for chronic illnesses as well as living with a chronic illness.

The forum is open to the general public, particularly people who suffer from chronic illness, their families and friends and in general the people who support them, pharmacists and other organizations that represent persons who suffer from a chronic illness.

The objective of the forum is to create awareness and to educate the general public about living with Chronic Illnesses and chronic pain and how they can assist and support friends and loved ones to cope and live well with a chronic illness.
