LUPUS FOUNDATION TO HOST HEALTH AND WELLNESS FORUM

“Living well with chronic Illness” is the theme for a Health and Wellness Forum which will be hosted by the Lupus Foundation of Grenada (LFG). The event will take place at the Hospitality Suite, National Stadium on Saturday November 14 th at 10.00 am.

President of the LFG, Mrs. Hazel Bierzynski, says that everyone is invited to attend the event which will see a panel of prominent Grenadian doctors address a wide range of topics associated with chronic diseases. These subjects include an overview of what constitutes a chronic illness, managing chronic pain, stress management and relaxation techniques for chronic illnesses as well as living with a chronic illness. WORLD LUPUS DAY TO BE OBSERVED ON MAY 10th, 2009

2nd May, 2009 -- Lupus organizations around the world have united to sponsor the sixth World Lupus Day observance on 10 May 2009. At least five million people worldwide have lupus, a chronic autoimmune disease that strikes mostly young women of childbearing age. There are many women and men in Grenada who suffer from Lupus.
